From my Window SeatI once thought I hated Rain,
Soaked with gloom and sopping wet.
But looking from my window seat,
I saw I'd not seen its true beauty yet.

Rain is Nature's contrast,
Providing sanctuary from heat and day.
Turning bark to healthy black,
And sandy ground to earthy clay.

Rain is a reflection,
To those emotions we all feel.
Coloring dark gray for sadness,
And for those cheerful it colors teal.

I once thought I hated the Cold,
Frantically shivering and bitterly sober.
But looking from my window seat,
I gave the Cold a new once over.

The Cold is Nature's preserver,
Keeping Time and Movement still.
Changing resilient green to brillia

Desole: The HermitIt was hot in Desole. Probably the most understated sentence coming from this side of the hemisphere in a few millennium. A conglomeration of gritty sand, scalding heat, and a severe lack of shade make conditions in the desert nearly unbearable. The suffocating temperature was like a hot blanket in bed during the summer, often causing some travelers to glare at the sky, the sun glaring back, and wonder if it was just there to torment them. Sometimes it seemed like it was, judging by the number of pearly skeletons that litter the sands.

Fantastic! My name for my Totodile, that later became Croconaw, and then finally Feraligator and I've had it since the beginning. I love this. Very nicely done
